JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Hotel Manager & Front Desk Supervisor the hotel front desk clerk is to check guests in and out. Verify guests’ registration information and take any further information required, such as identification and period of stay and take cash or process credit cards. Once they have gone through all these procedures, they hand the room key to the guests and guide them to their rooms. When a guest is about to check out, a front desk clerk will ensure that all dues are clear and the key is handed over.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet guests and provide them with room availability and hotel facilities information
  • Assign rooms to guests and provide them with instruction on using automated keys
  • Make reservations over the phone and confirm them by providing call back services
  • Maintain information of room availability and guests’ accounts
  • Perform bookkeeping activities such as position charges and computing bills
  • Collect payments in the form of cash and process credit card payments
  • Record guests’ comments and complaints
  • Advise housekeeping staff to handle tasks when rooms are vacated
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and provide information on hotel’s services
  • Take and relay messages to guests
  • Accept and carry out wake-up call requests
  • Make cash drops at the end of each shift
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on the front desk
  • Communicate with staff on the previous shift to manage guests’ arrivals and reservations
  • Inform management of any discrepancies in front desk operations

Supervisor Player’s Club Supervisor/Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervisor Table Games Supervisor / Table Games Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Table Games Manager, the Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the operation of assigned table games to ensure game integrity, guest satisfaction, and compliance with policies and procedures.  Responsible for ensuring operations run smoothly through positive interactions with guest, resolution of disputes, and management of floor operations on an ongoing basis.  Applicants should be advised that the Tribe reserves the right to disqualify applicants whose prior activities pose a threat to the public interest.  Friendly, professional, attitude required at all times.  Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.  Neat clean appearance is a must.  Red Cliff Tribal member preferred but all qualified applicants will be considered.

  • Minimum of six (6) months Dual Rate Supervisory and/or Full-time Supervisory experience in Table Games.
  • Knowledge of Table Games, i.e., internal controls, policies, procedures, regulations, and rules pertaining to Table Games.
  • Ability to supervise and train assigned staff including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in appraising difficult situations and in making appropriate decisions.

  • Promotes positive guest relations providing a good gaming experience by answering questions, resolving disputes, locating beverage servers, etc.

  • Interacts with guest and employees in a positive, professional manner.
  • Assist Slot Attendants on verifying of payouts and hand pays.
  • Maintains or escorts a series of keys, accessing locked areas as necessary.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of those guests who have been banned from re-entering the property.
  • Handles all monetary transactions between the Cage and Gaming Tables in compliance with gaming regulations.

Supervisor Controller

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Controller, Senior accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Accountants, Revenue Auditors, Accounts Payable and Payroll. Senior accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks. Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable, producing error-free accounting reports and present their results analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Financial controller, Chief or Senior accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Awareness of business trends
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Great Plains and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, spreadsheets
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
  • Must be skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department
  • Must have very good verbal skills
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures

  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
  • Provide technical support and advice on Management accountant
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process
  • Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns
  • Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
